# Fixed Deposits

## Create a Fixed Deposit

1. Open **Fixed Deposits** and tap **+** at the top right.
2. Enter a name, principal, annual interest rate, and start date.
3. Choose the principal account, term, and interest payment method.
4. Review the automatically generated interest schedule and save.

| Interest payment method                | Use                                                     |
| -------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Principal and Interest at Maturity** | Confirm the principal and interest together at maturity |
| **Monthly Interest**                   | Creates one pending interest period each month          |
| **Quarterly Interest**                 | Creates one pending interest period each quarter        |
| **Annual Interest**                    | Creates one pending interest period each year           |

## Confirm Interest

1. Tap a fixed deposit to open its details.
2. Choose an interest period that has reached its due date.
3. Check the actual amount received, account, and date.
4. Saving creates an interest record and updates the plan history.

If estimated interest differs from the bank's actual payment, enter the bank's actual amount when confirming interest.

## Edit and Delete

The edit page can change plan details and unconfirmed interest periods. To end a plan early, open it and choose **End Early**. Open **Ended** at the bottom of Fixed Deposits to view completed plans.
