# Data Protection and Reminders

## Data Protection

Open **Personalization** to use these options:

| Setting                   | Effect                                                     |
| ------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Background Blur**       | Obscures page content when the App enters the background   |
| **Password**              | Requires the Daak password when opening the App            |
| **Face ID / Touch ID**    | Unlocks with device biometrics                             |
| **Verification Interval** | Sets how long Daak can remain inactive before asking again |

## Record Reminders

1. Open **Record Reminders**.
2. Add a reminder and enter its title and message.
3. Choose daily, weekly, or monthly, then set the reminder time.
4. Save and confirm the reminder is enabled.

## Start Day

Open **Start Day** to change the first day of the week and month. Home, Statistics, Budget, and other pages use the new start days to divide periods.
